Desert Radiologists Forges Partnership with Desert View Hospital
LAS VEGAS - Desert Radiologists has begun providing radiology services to Desert View Hospital in Pahrump as part of a new agreement between the two companies.Physicians from Desert Radiologists are providing expert interpretations for Pahrump's first and only hospital. As the official radiology partner, Desert Radiologists will be reading the hospital's diagnostic X-rays, Computed tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Ultrasound and Mammography studies.

"The expertise of their radiologists and the ability to have images read at any time of the day will enhance the care and treatments we provide."
The medical center and Desert Radiologists use a Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) that offers rapid transfer and retrieval of diagnostic images. The PACS enables the hospital to send diagnostic images to Desert Radiologists' physicians immediately after they are taken, allowing the radiologists to interpret the images moments later. This rapid exchange of information can occur at any hour of the day and enhances the quality of medical care in the Pahrump community.
Desert View Hospital opened in 2006 as a 24-bed, critical access hospital with a 24-hour Emergency Room. The facility offers private rooms, a full service laboratory, radiology services, and physical therapy, speech therapy and sleep studies.
