Education:
Dr. Rajashree Vyas graduated from K.J. Somaiya Medical College in Mumbai, India in 1999 with a Bachelors of Medicine and Bachelors of Surgery. In 2002, she received her Diploma in Medical Radio Diagnosis from T. Nair Medical College in Mumbai, India. She continued her medical career at the University of Rochester where she completed her Adult Cross-Sectional Imaging Fellowship in 2005 and Pediatric Radiology Fellowship in 2006. Dr. Vyas was conferred her Medical Degree by the State of New York and served as Assistant Professor of Pediatric Radiology for the University of Rochester from 2006 until 2008.
Experience:
Dr. Vyas joined Desert Radiologists in 2009. She has co-authored several publications and has conducted numerous educational presentations including: "Pediatric Pneumoperitoneum - Piecing the Puzzle" for which she received a certificate of merit at RSNA in 2007, "Isolated pyomyositis in the pediatric population - Have things changed?", presented in 2009 at the Society of Skeletal Radiology and "Chronic recurrent multifocal osteomyelitis (CRMO): Imaging features that facilitate and confound diagnosis" - ARRS 2009 Power Hour Presentation.
